Pembrokeshire Community Buildings Forum this autumn has an energy saving theme. Organised by PAVS, PLANED and Pembrokeshire County Council, the forum is being held on Monday, October 29, at Llawhaden Memorial Hall, from 7 - 9 pm.

There will be a presentation on top tips for saving energy in your building; four community halls will also be giving short presentations on how they minimise their energy consumption. The presentations will be followed by a question and answer session.

Consortium buying will also be discussed - find out how charities and other organisations can save money by using their purchasing power in partnership.

There will be an update on the Pembrokeshire Community Halls website, http://www.pembrokeshirehalls.org.uk">www.pembrokeshirehalls.org.uk and also helpful tips on practical steps to safeguard vulnerable people, hall committees, volunteers and hall users.

With the popular funding update rounding off the evening, the autumn forum is full of pertinent, valuable information for all community building committees. Light refreshments will be provided.

To book your place at the forum, which is open to all, please contact Liz Thomas at PLANED on 01834 862113 or Liz Cook at PAVS on 01437 769422.
