Tenby man Norman King, a serving officer in the Metropolitan Police was commended for Bravery in a ceremony held at New Scotland Yard, London on recently
PC King was presented a certificate for Bravery by Assistant Commissioner Todd after disarming and arresting a Burglar armed with a meat cleaver following a violent fight, during which two officers were injured.
PC King's mother, Margaret King, of Heywood Court, Tenby, his wife Marion and children Charlotte and George attended the presentation.
