"Fantastic Fibres' is the innovative title given to a new exhibition of the Pembrokeshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers to be held at the National Trust Colby Gardens, Amroth, from Saturday, July 13-27. Some of the items will be for sale.
The colourful weavings, hand spun garments, items made from felt, wall hangings, rugs and other articles are produced by members of the Guild who meet at Bloomfield Community Centre, Narberth, on the third Wednesday evening of each month.
A varied programme includes guest speakers, informal get-togethers, learning to spin and weave, introducing new ideas and helping each other with new projects. Day workshops are frequently held on a wide range of subjects.
New members are always welcome and experience is not necessary.
