An exhibition of over 200 paintings in all medium by local professional and amateur artists is currently on show in Tenby. The 2006 St. Johns Art Exhibition at St. Johns Church Hall in Warren Street, also features a selection of local hand-made crafts, including jewellery, pottery, wood and slate ornaments. A percentage of the sales will go to the chosen charities of St. Johns Church and Cancer Research. Also on show in the hall is a display of photographs by members of the Tenby Camera Club, whose professionalism is exceptional, with both unusual photographs and beautiful images of our magnificent county. The exhibition, which is also being held in conjunction with next week's Tenby Arts Festival, is open every day from 10 am - 5 pm (closed on Sunday morning) until Saturday, September 30. Organiser Carol Brinton Thomas would like to thank the band of helpers who stepped in and assisted with the hanging of the paintings on Sunday.
