Members of the equestrian teaching staff and students of the Pembrokeshire College held their annual charity horse show at The Bowlings Stables on Wednesday when more than 100 disabled riders participated. Lecturer Mike Butcher expressed his most sincere appreciation to all who gave their wholehearted support in raising funds for the RDA, Dr. and Mrs. Gibson for making their premises available, and to Michelle Lewis, of Pembrokeshire Equestrian Supplies, who generously sponsored the whole event. The overall winners were: 16 years and under - Hannah John, Pembroke Dock; 17 years and over - Martin Smith, St. Davids. Faculty manager Paul Robinson announced this year's recipients of the college's Student of the Year, 2008 prize had been jointly won by Rhiannon Morris, St. Davids and Rachel Mayhew of Neyland.
