PEMBROKESHIRE College Holistic Therapies student Joanne Marie Brokenshaw received a makeover by the hair and beauty students and staff before setting off to London to attend auditions of Des O'Connor's Stars and their Doubles last week.
The Charlotte Church look-alike from Saundersfoot said: "It was an exciting experience. There were about 50 different look-alikes in the theatre. When it was my turn, I had to say my name, who I look like and why, and then I did a few lines of Charlotte's song - 'Just Wave Hello'. Although I did point out first that I only looked liked her!
"I was then chosen to do some extra filming being myself and these clips are likely to be used at the beginning and end of each show, which will be a consolation if I don't get chosen to go on to the next stage.
"I'll be told in the next few weeks whether they want me back to do the show with Des O'Connor. In the meantime, Channel 4 has offered me a part in constructing the life of Charlotte Church. There's only one problem at the moment, they can't find a double for her boyfriend Steve Johnson."
