Nearly £2,000 has been raised recently at Pembrokeshire College for three different charities.
College principal Glyn Jones and marketing and community relations manager Patrick Groves raised £1,117 for the Noah's Ark Appeal. The money was collected from local sponsors for their completion of the Paris Marathon in May.
Groups of students from Leisure and Recreation and Travel and Tourism courses have also recently contributed £838 to the Pembrokeshire Parent Action Group and the Rehabilitation Ward at Withybush Hospital. As a part of their course, the students organised two events - the Dale Half Marathon and a DJ and Band Night in Haverfordwest - to raise this money for Pembrokeshire charities.
