Pembrokeshire College is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, May 18, between 10 am and 2 pm.
The Open Day promises to be a very big event with many demonstrations and exhibitions covering a variety of subjects and interests for all the family. The college will even have some entertainment to keep younger members happy, including an entertainer, painting, funky hair and making things from dough.
Some of the many things that will be demonstrated are Indian head massage, cocktail-making and cooking. There will also be many exhibitions of students' work, including marine, art and design and travel and tourism.
On a more serious note, there will be a chance to chat to tutors, get careers advice and visit the classrooms, workshops, learning centre and IT suites.
Potential school leavers, parents and mature students can also find out about some of the new things on offer. They include: free higher national diplomas (HNCs), As Welsh, AS computing and AS Chinese; the new Golf Academy - endorsed by the patron Nick Faldo - where students can hone their golfing skills whilst receiving a first rate education, and a range of Foundation Degrees validated by the University of Glamorgan.
If you would like a copy of either the further or higher education prospectus and cannot make it to the Open Day, then please call the college on 0800 716 236.
