Start off the festive season with the National Trust in Pembrokeshire as Colby Woodland Garden hosts its annual winter fayre this weekend.

The free event returns to Colby Woodland Garden, near Amroth, on Saturday and Sunday, November 12 and 13, between 10 am and 4 pm. Visitors can make a start on seasonal shopping and browse a range of traditional stalls, with local arts, crafts and homemade produce on offer across the weekend.

Sample seasonal food and drink along the way, warm up in the Bothy Tea-room and enjoy the gardens during your visit; the woodland walks are wonderful at this time of year.

Other festive activities you can enjoy with the National Trust this winter include: Christmas stargazing at Stackpole (December 2, 4-8 pm, £8 per adult, £6 per child and £22 for a family of four), the Southwood Farm Christmas Fayre (December 10, 10.30 am - 4 pm, free) and a traditional 1500s Christmas at the Tudor Merchant’s House in Tenby (from November 19, 11 am - 3 pm, normal admission charges apply).
