PICTURED here is Sarah Caswell, of Tenby, competition winner at the Peter Rabbit Fun Day held at Colby Woodland Gardens in Amroth.

Over 200 children and their families enjoyed meeting Peter Rabbit, following the quiz trail, making clay hedgehogs, learning about felt-making with Sue Hoyland, of the Pembrokeshire Guild, and playing in the gardens on a lovely sunny day.

Colby's next family event will be on the weekend of October 12, 13 and 14.

As part of a National Campaign for Learning, Colby's Family Learning weekend offers the chance to take a healthy walk in the crisp autumn air.

There will be fun opportunities to learn about the woodlands and collect some seeds and plant up your own tree seed, do bark rubbing, leaf identification quiz, collage, and round off your visit with a bowl of home-made soup or a mug of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream in the Bothy tearooms.

Admissioin is free to children and National Trust members, adults £2.80.
