YESTERDAY (Thursday) saw the opening of the Colby Gallery for the 2004 season. As well as the wide selection of crafts and art to be seen and enjoyed in the large gallery, for the first week of April the Saundersfoot watercolour group will be showing some of their work in the side gallery.
The group are all students of Yvonne Mannings, of the Apple Tree Gallery, with work from over 20 of the students on display that comprises of many floral and still life studies, with a variety of sea and landscapes reflecting the scenery here in Pembrokeshire.
The exhibition in the Colby Gallery will be open daily up to April 9, and some of the art students whose work is on display will be available to explain their work.
