A coffee morning at the Cambrian Hotel, Saundersfoot, on Friday, May 2, in aid of the Tenby and Pembrokeshire branch of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association raised £122.

Branch chair person, Shelagh Griffin, thanked Mr. and Mrs. Fry for the use of the Cambrian Hotel, everyone who had provided cakes and raffle prizes, and the kind folk who had attended the event.

Raffle winners were: Mrs. R. Baggott, Mrs. P. Phillips, Mrs. E. Plester, Mrs. D. Bound, Mrs. A. Mitchell.

Everyone was delighted to see branch president, Iris Roblin, at the coffee morning making good progress following her recent fall, but were sorry to hear that Elsie Brumby had also had a fall breaking her collar bone.

The branch has planned a busy summer and would be pleased to hear from anyone who has a few hours to spare and would like to support a worthwhile charity and at the same time make new friends. Please contact either branch chair person, Shelagh Griffin (01834) 812809, or Eva Rich 812868, branch secretary.
