An end of June re-opening for the landslip hit coastal path connecting Coppet Hall and Wiseman’s Bridge is being targeted.

At the most recent meeting of Saundersfoot Community Council, the chair, Cllr Alec Cormack (who is also county councillor for the seaside village’s north ward) said that Pembrokeshire County Council had confirmed that all loose material had been excavated and removed from site.

The contractor Ibex Aerial was proceeding with rock bolting and construction of catch fencing in two places.

“For the first time PCC have given a target date for reopening the path, of the end of June. While this isn’t a guarantee, I am pleased to be able to communicate this to local businesses and residents,” remarked Cllr Cormack.
