Residents and visitors to Pembrokeshire are being urged to put a spring in their step.
Three coastal buses will be operating throughout the spring period to enable walkers to enjoy the best of the Pembrokeshire coast.
The Poppit Rocket, Strumble Shuttle and Coastal Cruiser, run by Pembrokeshire Coastal Bus Services, have already enjoyed a successful winter.
"This is the perfect time of year to get out and about and explore our county's beautiful coastline," said Clr. Brian Hall, cabinet member for transportation and environment.
"We have seen a huge increase in the number of people using the coastal buses this year, and I am delighted that the winter buses have proven so popular with locals and visitors."
The Poppit Rocket is currently running between Cardigan and Newport, via Moylegrove. The Strumble Shuttle runs along the coast between Fishguard and St. Davids. Both buses run on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
In the south of the county, the Coastal Cruiser bus runs between Pembroke, Angle, Bosherston, Stackpole and Freshwater East, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The winter buses will continue to run three days a week until the end of April. From May 1, all the coastal buses, including the Celtic Coaster and Puffin Shuttle, will start running seven days a week on their summer timetables.
The winter buses have been introduced by Pembrokeshire County Council, with contributions from Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and the National Trust. It is part of the Pembrokeshire Greenways project, which aims to help residents and visitors access the coast without having to use a car.
The 'Puffin' bus services are a valuable solution to rural transport problems along Pembrokeshire's coastline, providing valuable public transport to both locals and visitors, with some areas receiving public transport services for the first time.
