Twenty bags of coal, which were due to be taken over to Caldey Island, were stolen from the harbourside at Tenby sometime between 10 pm last Thursday and 6 am the following morning.
Anyone with information, or who may have seen anything suspicious, is asked to contact PC1033 Boorman at the town's police station on 0845 330 2000.
