Pembrokeshire Fish Week's Stena Line sea angling coaching day proved to be another huge success, with people travelling from far and wide to be part of this highly successful event (writes Gareth Davies, WFSA/FWA).

All the coaches had, at some time in the past or present, represented Wales in some way, from shore and boat fishing to surfcasting, and all were more than willing to share years of valuable information and knowledge.

As can be seen from the photographs, everyone had fun, with many small whiting, pollock, gurnards and dogfish making up the catches.

Pembrokeshire Fish Week is a great way of learning about what the sea can offer, with coaching not only for sea angling, but game and coarse being offered through the week, along with sampling many attractions.

Stena Line have for many years provided an important link between Ireland and Wales and their continued support just goes to show how closes the links are between the two shorelines.

The coaching days are open to all, with over 30 new anglers taking part on the breakwater at Fishguard harbour this time round. We can cater for men, women and children and any ability.

Please watch out for updates on the next series of coaching days.
