Pembrokeshire County Council has written to residents in Tenby who will be affected by the resurfacing of the A4218 from this weekend.
The stretch of highway to be resurfaced runs from the junction of Serpentine Road to the Five Ways Garage on The Green.
The council is asking residents for co-operation in keeping the road outside their properties free of vehicles and other obstructions.
The works programme is as follows:
Sunday, March 2, from 6 am to 10 pm - no parking along the length of the road while the existing surface is removed.
Monday, March 3, from 6 am until midnight, Tuesday, March 4 - no parking from Five Ways Garage to the junction of Jubilee Gardens.
Wednesday, March 5 from 6 am until midnight, Friday, March 7 - no parking from the junction of Heywood Lane to the junction with Serpentine Road.
The work is expected to last around a fortnight.
