Staff at Co-op supermarkets in Pembroke Dock, Kilgetty and Neyland are celebrating following their success in achieving the coveted Investors in People (IiP) award.
The national recognised symbol for excellence has been awarded to the Co-operative Group and marks the culmination of 12 months work by the consumer-owned retailer.
It recognises the Co-op's commitment to involving and motivating all its 2,500 staff at its three stores in the area and its 74 other branches across Wales in pursuit of business goals.
To achieve the award, the Co-op had to demonstrate high standards throughout its recruitment, training and staff communications programmes from its Welsh head office to store level.
The Co-operative group's chief officer for Wales, David Mockford said: "This is a tremendous achievement and our employees can take great pride in the knowledge that it has been awarded because of their hard work and commitment.
"As a community retailer we set ourselves the highest standards in providing our customers with all their shopping needs and the Investors in People award will play a vital part in ensuring those standards are maintained," he added.
