Only 30 people live in Sardis, a tiny community by the sea. But in the last three years, they've cleared tons of rubbish, laid paths, cleaned ditches and planted flowers and shrubs.
Now they'll plant even more native Pembrokeshire shrubs in their woodlands, thanks to a £100 donation from the Co-operative Group's community dividend fund.
Secretary Rosemary Irvine said: "Visitors love the peace and tranquillity and the locals have found their own identity through working together and forging new friendships."
The fund is part of the Co-operative Group's dividend customer loyalty card scheme which allows shoppers to donate the extra pence in their twice-yearly dividend payouts to worthy causes.
Approximately £100,000 is available annually to support charities and community groups in Wales with local Co-op members' committees allocating the awards throughout the year, based on a set of values and principles such as social responsibility and caring for others.
"The community dividend fund can make a real and lasting contribution to local communities and we are delighted to make this award," said the Co-operative Group's secretary for Wales, Mark Field.
"Many community groups share our co-operative values and could benefit from an award, and we would certainly like to hear from them."
