Begelly Kilgetty Community Association have been the grateful recipients of a Co-op community fund grant. The community association received a cheque for the magnificent sum of £3,674 from the Co-op community fund at the store in Kilgetty last Saturday.

Commenting on the award, County Clr. David Pugh, treasurer of Begelly Kilgetty Community Association, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen as one of the three charities to receive a grant from the Co-op community fund which has been so well supported by the local members. The award has exceeded all our expectations and will be put to good use improving the facilities at the community hall and children’s play area.

“We are very grateful to the Co-op which has always supported local causes and their commitment through the community fund is very welcome, not only to ourselves, but to the other two charities which were also awarded grant funding.”
