Nikki Johnson, club treasurer for the Pembroke Company of Archers, disappointed at missing the recent counter archery championship due to illness, returned to club shooting on top form.
Nikki, using the unlimited compound bow, scored a six gold end whilst shooting the albion round at 80, 60 and 50 yards. Scoring six gold scores in one end of six arrows at the 60 yard distance, entitled Nikki to add the Grand National Archery Society six gold badge to her 1,000 FITA star award achieved at a recent world record status competition.
Congratulations go to Nikki who joins just a select handful of archers who have achieved this sought-after award at the club and in West Wales.
