Managing agents for Croft Court, Tenby, Charles Birt and Co., have written to the town council on behalf of their clients, bringing to their attention the flat owners concerns over the height of the growth of trees and shrubs in the cliff top garden opposite the Croft. The matter was first brought to the council's attention back in June 2003, but with no conclusion reached, the Croft Court clients have requested that the matter be looked at again. Speaking at last week's town council meeting, the clerk, Mr. Andrew Davies, said that the overgrowth problem at the garden was to be monitored by local police, with some youngsters often seen frequenting the area. "Their have been problems reported recently with youths going in to the garden, and after bringing this to the police's attention, they have agreed to monitor the situation by making regular checks," he said. Clr. Mike Evans agreed with fellow councillors that the situation needed to be addressed. Members also agreed that the letter concerned should be forwarded to the town's other Pembrokeshire County Council representative, Clr. Michael Williams.
