A cliff faller was rescued and taken to hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
The lifeboat was soon on the water, and despite heavy fog, made best speed towards the casualty's position.
On reaching Morfa Bychan, because of the fog, it was impossible to find the casualty's position so a crew member was put ashore to search the cliff line.
He soon located the incident and found that it was some way up the beach and that paramedics were already in attendance.
Once the casualty had been stabilised for transport, he was carried up the beach by both lifeboat crew and Tenby Coastguard Team to the awaiting ambulance.
The lifeboat returned to station where it was refuelled and ready for service by 4.45 pm.
