The extreme sport of cliff diving is returning to Pembrokeshire this summer.
The Red Bull Cliff Diving World series will be staging a competition at Abereiddy in September.
It's the second time the prestigious competition series has stopped off in the County and follows its UK debut at the Blue Lagoon last year.
Deputy leader, Clr. Rob Lewis, said he was thrilled that the organisers had decided to return.
"Red Bull makes huge efforts to select some of the most stunning cliff diving locations in the world for its series and for Pembrokeshire to be among them last year was a major coup.
"Their decision to return again this year shows how successful last year's event was and is a great compliment to our county," he said.
"Pictures and images of the event will once again showcase Pembrokeshire to the world. It's a wonderful platform for tourism."
The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series is now in its fifth year. The professional divers push the limits of their bodies and minds by performing dives from platform heights of 27m, which are scored by five high diving judges.
Abereiddy will be the sixth stop on this year's eight stop tour. Other locations will include France, Denmark, Italy, Portugal, USA, Brazil and Thailand.
The divers are expected in Pembrokeshire in the second week in September. The qualifying round takes place on Friday, September 13, with the finals held on Saturday, September 14. The competition is open to the public with tickets on sale later this year.
