St. Govan's coastguard rescue team were called out last Wednesday evening to investigate a report from a member of the public of clothing and belongings left on the cliff-top next to a fixed rope over the cliff at St. Govan's Head. A thorough search of the area revealed that members of the Pembrokeshire Climbing Club were on the beach below and not in any difficulty. The informant was thanked for their concern.
