Pembrokeshire Classic Car Club members, with their cars (a turnout of about 15) of a bygone era, went over the border into Carmarthenshire for the club's first run out of the 2010 season.
In what was dubbed 'Pat and Ann's Sunday lunch run', the cars met up at Penblewin and headed straight towards Carmarthen for their lunch - club members do like their food!
After lunch, they headed up the A484, passing through small Carmarthenshire communities and finally ending up at the very picturesque Cenarth Falls to stretch the drivers' legs, have a cuppa and let the old cars have a rest, before setting off for the homeward journey on the A478.
If you have a classic car and would like to become a member of Pembrokeshire Classic Car Club, you would be made most welcome at Haverfordwest Cricket Club on the last Thursday of each month where the club meets.
Contact chairman, Mr. Patrick Hayes, on (01834) 831954 or 07860881579 for further details.
Pembrokeshire Classic Car Club's very popular annual classic car show will be held on Sunday, June 6, at Scolton Manor, near Haverfordwest, so put this date in your diary as it is certainly a show not to be missed. More on this through the chairman and further press releases closer to 'showtime'.
The next club run and lunch will be on March 21 to Laugharne.
