Pembrokeshire Classic Car Club members took their cars out of mothballs and hit the roads of Pembrokeshire for the first run of the year on Sunday, March 15.

The club's new chairman, Mr. Patrick Hayes, who organised the run, picked a perfect sunny Sunday for the drive, which passed through the villages of Lampeter Velfrey, Princes Gate, a short stop at Carew Castle, Lamphey and Jameston to name a few, and finally ending in Penally for a Sunday lunch.

A total of seven Classics were on the run, with a few members in their more modern cars as final preparations were being made to their older vehicles, to grace our roads in the near future.

Three members' cars developed minor faults on the early stages, but these were soon rectified and wheels were rolling once again.

Pembrokeshire Classic Car Club is a club which is continually getting bigger due to the popularity of their Car Show which is held every year at Scolton Manor on the first Sunday in June (a date for your calendar, June 7).
