Following the discovery of new evidence, an inquiry into the deaths of three young people from West Wales from the degenerative brain disease CJD has been re-opened.
Twenty-five-year-old Marianne Harvey, of Stepaside, Richard Cole, 30, of Reynalton, and Richard Roberts, 18, of Carmarthen, all died between 1999 and 2000.
On Monday, the ITV current affairs programme Wales This Week revealed it had found an unpublished report which offered crucial clues into how some school meals could have been infected with the human form of mad cow disease. Following the programme, the National Public Health Service has confirmed it is re-opening its inquiry.
