Church and chapel records will be the theme of the next meeting of the Pembrokeshire Affiliation of Local History Societies.
Archivist Nikki Bosworth from Pembrokeshire Records Office will talk to local historians about the importance of such records as an aid to historical research.
The talk will be followed by practical sessions.
The event takes place on Wednesday, May 20, in the recently re-organised Reference and Local Studies Library at Haverfordwest at 6.30 pm.
The next affiliation event will also have a religious theme when local history societies take a trip to St. David's Cathedral Library on Wednesday, June 10 (2 pm).
Nona Rees will speak about the collections in the Cathedral Library and there will also be an opportunity to view some of these items and consider how these can be useful for research.
