The Wales Air Ambulance received a boost this week thanks to the Welsh cake ladies at St. Johns Church who held a special bake in memory of fellow baker and and air ambulance shop volunteer Ruth Mardon. The sum of £140 was raised and presented to shop manager Micaela Poole and volunteer Jean Jones by the Welsh cake makers this week.
