Sir, The Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism would like to thank everyone, including your team, who helped to make this year's St. Nicholas Christmas Market such a success, despite the extreme weather conditions. Grateful thanks goes to all those who gave their time and expertise to help behind the scenes, especially Wayne and Simon, who helped tremendously with security. Our appreciation also goes to the entertainers, participants, stallholders and the public who supported us. We would like to extend a special thank you to PLANED, The Harbour Commissioners and Harbour Master and to Lee Brace for their support. Sponsorship from the Welsh Assembly Government, Pembrokeshire County Council, Pembrokeshire Tourism, South West Wales Tourism Partnership and Clay Shaw Butler was much appreciated. Your readers may wish to be reminded that they are invited to the New Year's Eve fireworks display which is also on Saundersfoot Harbour with music from 8 pm to 1 am, with fireworks commencing at midnight. Next year's first event for the Chamber will be the St. David's Food and Craft Festival with its World Famous Cawl Cooking Championship Contest. The dates for this event next year are quite special being on St. David's Day and Mothering Sunday (March 1 and 2). Those wishing to book a stall should please ring (01834) 812610.
