Sir,

On behalf of the Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism, I would like to thank the following people for their help and support for the St. Nicholas Christmas Market:

The Harbour Commission and staff, especially Peter Scudfield, Martin and Butch; PLANED for their support with regard to funding; St. Issell's Church Choir for their carols; Hebron Baptist Church for the crib and their carols; Jeff Davies at GenSet for providing the power; Dignity Charity Organ; the Tourist Information Centre for the use of their office; Saundersfoot Junior School; Owen Money and the BBC; Pembrokeshire County Council for the stalls and sandbags; James Williams at Narberth for their donation; the Achievement Committee who provided the lights around the village and lit the tree; Lionel Allen for helping with the electrics; Sea View Products for providing Santa with his Grotto; Tony Allen for his assistance with the Grotto; Mr. Dave Williams for the use of his lorry; all the stall holders for their participation; and not forgetting Father Christmas.

But above all, and not least, the committee members and those who supported them, for the sacrifices made and time donated, all of which contributed to yet another successful Christmas Market, which benefited both businesses and the community.

It was unfortunate that after advice from HM Coastguard of an impending storm, Sunday's events had to be cancelled. I am pleased that this was greeted with understanding from all those involved.

Next year's St Nicholas' Christmas Market will be held on December 5, 6 and 7.

On behalf of the committee, I would like to extend a warm invitation for volunteers from both the community and businesses to become involved with the Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism in order to ensure future success of such events.

The committee are now heavily involved with the preparations for the New Year's Eve celebrations on the harbour. Music will be playing from 9 pm, culminating in the fireworks display at midnight.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Once again, on behalf of Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism, thank you to those involved and may we take this opportunity to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Andrew M. Evans,

Chairman,

On behalf of Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism.
