Next Friday evening will see Stepaside School host their annual Christmas Fayre, packed full of Yuletide attractions, with everyone involved and invited sure to join in with the fun and festive celebrations. Staged by the 'Friends of Stepaside School', there will be plenty to see and do at the event, which promises to be an evening of traditional Christmas merriment which will include - hot mince pies, mulled wine, cake and bottle stalls, hand-made crafts, candles and cards, and a big Christmas raffle. The pupils of Stepaside School will also have a big part to play during the evening by providing the musical entertainment, with plenty of well-known seasonal carols sure to be sung. The children will also be staging their own games, which are bound to provide further fun for staff and parents alike. Children will also be able to pay a visit with their shopping list to see Father Christmas who will be at the fayre in his Grotto. Friends of Stepaside School members - chair Sally North, secretary Jill Sutton, and treasurer Sue Shields all hope that mothers, fathers, staff, pupils and friends connected with the school will turn up on the evening and support the cause: "A warm welcome is extended to everyone to come along and join in the celebrations and show their support. We're sure that everyone will have a great time, as there will be plenty of traditional Christmas festivities and activities on offer," said Sue. The Stepaside School Christmas Fayre will be held on Friday, December 10, from 6 to 8 pm. For further information, contact the school on 01834 812764.
