Following the great success of the exhibition by artist Claudia Williams, work by 11 artists will be on show at the Christmas Exhibition at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery.

The exhibition, entitled Deck The Walls: Works of art as perfect gifts, will feature works of sculpture, ceramics, glass work and paintings from the participating artists, Jack Ashley, Julian Brown, Eden Evans, Grahame Hurd-Wood, Ian MacDonald, Mick Morgan, Doug Perry, Steve Robinson, Paul Roche, Darren Yeadon and Sarah Young.

The exhibition will be opened today (Friday) by Bob Fish, ex-lead singer of the 1970s/80s doo-wap revival band, The Darts, now performing bluegrass/country music and teaching the autoharp in the US. Bob will be teaming up with wordsmith Heather Fish for a music/poetry fusion experience. The warm festive welcome will be completed with the serving of spicy mulled wine.

This is an excellent opportunity to acquire works of art from respected artists, either as a personal acquisition or as a gift for a friend. The interest-free Collectorplan Scheme is available to anyone who wishes to purchase an original work of art or print to the value of £50 or more.

Tomorrow (Saturday), there will be an open day at the museum, giving free admission to visitors. Refreshments will also be available, served by the Friends of Tenby Museum. This is the last weekend day that the museum will be open this year.

Following this, the exhibition runs from Monday to Friday until Friday, December 18, when the museum closes for the year.
