ALWAYS ahead of the game, Kill For A Seat comedy club at the Queen's Hall, Narberth, on Thursday, November 13, brings you Christmas a month early with the humour of Jarred Christmas from New Zealand, who will be mc for this month's laughathon. Energetic and surreal, Jarred Christmas is a unique comic talent with a character all of his own.
Simon Munnery, the top of the bill comic, also known by his stage names of Alan Parker: Urban Warrior and The League Against Tedium, is an English comedy writer and experimental comedian. His stand-up is perhaps best described as satirical, often political and almost always surreal.
Munnery plays harmonica and his dialogue is full of quotable remarks: "If you've only ever read one book in your life... I strongly recommend that you keep your mouth shut."
Supporting this cracking bill of horrendous humour will be a Scouser with attitude. You will know him as Nige, but his mum called him Keith Carter.
Not content with single-handedly winning Liverpool the position of Capital of Culture (Jeremy Isaacs), the Scally who fell to earth regales us again with his foul-mouthed, drug dosser stories and side-splitting melodic songs full of twisted humour.
Tickets are available from Span Arts on 01834 869323.
