Friends of Greenhill are putting on their first ever Christmas Ball, to be held at the De Valence Pavilion on December 8.
Tickets are now on sale for the fundraising event which will hopefully bring everyone in the community together before Christmas.
It will be a fabulous opportunity to get your friends and family together for a pre-Christmas celebration or even a works do or girlie night out.
The organisers are hoping to get tables of eight to 10, but smaller numbers are asked to please get in touch so suitable arrangements can be made.
The evening includes a welcome drink, a wonderful three-course meal courtesy of the acclaimed Qube catering team, which will be a platter of canapés to start consisting of venision and red current meatballs, Caldey crab cakes with chilli lime and coriander, baked fig and goats cheese money bags and Welsh rarebit. Main course of chicken breast , celeriac puree with baby vegetables, broad beans fondant potatoes, thyme and garlic jus. With an autumn berry cheesecake with fruit coulis and fresh mint for dessert. Table wine will be included and a vegetarian/ vegan option of chickpea, butter bean, red lentil and olive tagine with Mediterranean cous cous and toasted almonds will also be available if requested in advance.
Following the meal, guests will be entertained by Cardiff-based band ‘The Trends’, a five-piece band who perform internationally at high profile events and have supported acts such as Diversity.
The De Valence will be having a ‘winter wonderland’ makeover for the night and the dress code for the evening will be black tie/smart evening wear.
Tickets are £40, with funds going towards the school. Booking early is recommended, as lots have already been sold and the event is expected to be a sell-out.
Thank you to Tredeml Print for the poster design.
