Haverfordwest Male Voice Choir recently gave a concert in St. Johns Church, Tenby, on behalf of the Tenby branch of Cancer Research (UK).

The choir was welcomed by the chairman of the Tenby branch, Mrs. Louise Spain, and proceeded to delight a very appreciative audience with a mixture of stirring Welsh and English songs.

The soloist with the choir, Mrs. Claire Harrison, was an extremely talented singer who enchanted everyone with a simply glorious rendering of 'Lo, the Bright Seraphim' and several other very different, but equally delightful songs.

After the concert, Cancer Research (UK) organiser, Mrs. Linda Strange, presented conductor Mr. Gwyn Griffiths with a certificate of appreciation for all the choir's efforts in raising large sums of money for cancer research over the past 10 years.

The branch's thanks go to all concerned, conductor, choristers, soloists and accompanist.
