Quaynotes choir gave a concert at the RAOB Club, Kilgetty, last Friday, and raised £300 for Cancer Research UK. The committee would like to thank Margaret and John Joseph for a donation of £25.

The choir sang pieces from popular musicals, old and new, which the audience enjoyed.

Soloists were Val Evans, Carol Llewellyn and Elvian Griffiths.

Max Boyce's well knowned song 'The Scottish Trip' was sung by Mr. Mel Hicks.

Mr. George Cavell welcomed the choir, conductor Sharron Lusher and accompanist Eileen Thomas.

The raffle was drawn and the lucky winners received their prizes.

Brian Howells thanked the choir for an enjoyable evening. Gifts were presented to Sharron Lusher and Eileen Thomas; also the staff of the RAOB Club.

The evening concluded with refreshments prepared and served by the ladies of the Saundersfoot committee.
