NINETEEN-year-old Chloe Whittock from Llanteg (pictured) is to represent Wales in an international modelling and fashion competition.

She's off to Africa on an all-expenses paid trip to compete against girls from over 40 other countries, including Australia and the USA, in this prestigious competition.

Chloe, who was in the finals of Miss Wales last year, said she was honoured to have won the competition to represent Wales.

She is having a dress designed by Jay Zblewska in the colours of the Welsh flag, which she will wear for the national costume round of the competition.

Chloe is to fly out to Africa early next month with the girls representing England, Ireland and Scotland.
