Chloe Valentine from Narberth was crowned Miss Pembrokeshire at St. Peters Civic Hall in Carmarthen as Vibe Models' search for the new Miss Wales continues.
The sell-out event, sponsored by the Dress-Stop.com, the UK's largest prom and evening wear shop, and Charhys Styling Studio from Llanelli took place on Friday, with 10 finalists competing for the title of Miss Pembrokeshire.
Chloe, along with the two runners-up, Zoe Hughes, of Haverfordwest, and Stephanie Westwood, of Kilgetty, will go on to represent Pembrokeshire in the grand final of Miss Wales 2009 this July at the Cardiff International Arena.
All contestants took part in three catwalk rounds, including a casual wear round, little black dress round and evening wear round in front of a panel of judges.
Carole Williams, manager of The Dress-Stop.com, said: "All the finalists were beautiful and have done a wonderful job raising money for The Joshua Foundation.
"I think the three girls will have a fantastic time at the Miss Wales competition in Cardiff International Arena later this year and I can't wait to see them all there!"
Chloe, 20, is a fully qualified beauty therapist and is also currently working as a fittings model for Marks and Spencer.
Prior to the competition, the 10 girls raised around £2,000 for the competition's associated charity, The Joshua Foundation.
The three girls will continue to fund-raise for the charity in the lead up to the Miss Wales 2009 competition in July. Vibe Models and The Joshua Foundation are hoping to build on the success of last years contestants efforts to raise a record-breaking £100,000 this year.
Paula Abbandonato, PR director of Vibe Models, said: "We are thrilled with our winners and delighted to have raised so much for charity at the same time. It's been a very exciting year and we wish all the girls the best of luck at the Miss Wales competition next year."
