Characters from story-books, songs and cartoons look set to be amongst the hundreds of brave bathers joining Tenby's famous festive dash for the splash. For 'Children's Favourites' is the costume theme which has just been announced for the forthcoming Tenby Boxing Day Swim. This year's swim, sponsored once again by FBM Holidays, has chosen the Gareth Scotcher Trust Fund, the Paul Sartori Foundation 'Hospice at Home', Diabetes UK and Macmillan Nurses as its headline charities. Swimmers can either support these charities or their own good causes, but everyone taking the plunge is encouraged to get themselves sponsored to add to the overall total raised by the swim. Sponsor forms can be downloaded from http://www.tenbyboxingdayswim.co.uk.Swimmers">www.tenbyboxingdayswim.co.uk.Swimmers are also invited to join the Boxing Day Swimmers group on the Facebook site, which already has more than 220 members.
