Sunday, November 21, was 'Children in Need night' at the Sun Inn Tenby. The night started with Damian's fun quiz and many raffles being sold, the prizes for which were all donated by local businesses. This was followed by auctioning of the staff and a '60s, '70s, '80s fancy dress karaoke and disco. This was the second year running they have raised money for Children in Need and was an extremely fun and successful night. "We managed to raise a total of £1,000 which will go to Children in Need, plus a further £400 which is being donated to the Eileen Thompson Unit for Children with Cancer," said licensee Damian Brown. Damian, Jackie, staff and customers would like to thank all the local businesses who kindly donated prizes to make the night such a success. Mrs. Cheryl Burrows also donated £200 from the Daniel Burrows Fund, which will make a total of £600 going to the Children's Cancer Unit at Llandough Hospital in Cardiff, where they need to buy new equipment for the unit when they move to the Heath Hospital.
