David Loosmore said: "This was the first year of the registration process and apart from a few 'teething' problems it went quite well. "Throughout the season seven clubs were fined and had the points awarded for the match deducted for playing an unregistered player and three clubs were fined for incorrectly completing the team sheet. "I would like to stress that there will be no amnesty this coming season and stringent checks of the team sheets will be carried out from the first match of the season. "I have handed out to all club secretaries present a list of players currently registered to play for your club. This will be the list (with any obvious amendments) that we will be using to check against. Please ensure that the list is 'up to date' and any players not on the list complete a registration form for your club. "As for child welfare, many CRB certificates will be expiring this year. The ECB will send out renewal forms (these are actually exactly the same forms that were completed three years ago) and the same process of completion will be required. "As the ECB now states that not all players are required to complete a CRB form, anyone who entered that they were a player on the previous form may not be sent a renewal form. These players will have to complete a Self Declaration Form, unless they are team captains, coaches, umpires or have direct contact with junior players. "I would ask all child welfare officers to check their records and, as required by the Pembroke County Cricket Club, ensure that everyone involved with the club has an up-to-date CRB certificate or has completed a Self Declaration form. "I have sent out notification to all CWOs and club secretaries of the 'Time to Listen' courses that are to be run on April 12 and 19 at Haverfordwest and Cresselly, respectively. All CWOs must attend this course, as stated by the ECB. All club CWOs must have attended the 'Good Practice' course before attending the 'Time to Listen' course. Any CWO who has not attended the 'Good Practice' course, could the club please let me know as soon as possible as I will endeavour to have them attend one run by the coaches or another organisation. "Again I would like to thank everyone for their co- operation over the past season and would hope that it will continue into the new season. "For information purposes only, as we now sign for a club for 'life', anyone who wishes to sign for a new club, even in the closed season, will be required to complete a transfer form and re- register with the new club."
