With Chevron's very kind donation, this will mean that the Rotary Club will be able to use all the proceeds from the evening to help their local, national and international charities, with the Rugby Club also benefiting fully from the profits on the bar that they are putting on.
The gates will open at 5.30 pm, and the club are delighted to announce that following feedback from last year they will be putting a firework display on at 6.30 pm for the smaller children, and then a larger grand finale firework display set to music at 9 pm.
Between the two displays, the club has organised a host of entertainment, including 'The Fire Circus', which includes displays of fire throwing, fire juggling and fire eating, and also entertaining the crowd on the floodlit pitch will be the Carew Collegiate of Knights Templar with their re- enactment displays of sword fighting and combat.
The club has organised two competitions for the public, a 'Guy Fawkes' contest with prizes on offer for the best guys, and also a mobile-phone throwing contest, with prizes on offer for the longest throw for best male and female adult, best over 12 and best under 12. If you have got an old mobile phone, bring it along and donate it to charity.
In addition, there will be fairground rides, hot dogs and burgers, Welsh cakes and bacon baps by the Ladies Circle of Tenby, a fully licensed bar and soft drinks, and disco music.
'Traders' are welcome for a donation, and they are asked to contact Rotary president Steve Williams on 07900 89047. Other local charities who are interested in putting on a fund-raising (non- catering) stall are asked to do likewise.
During the evening, the Rugby Club committee are also putting on a bonfire and both the Rotary and Rugby Clubs hope that a large crowd will turn up and enjoy the festivities.
