Chevron workers at the Pembroke refinery recently raised a significant amount of money for charity from staging a pink day fund-raiser.
"Everyone made such a great effort and donated generously, for a very fun day with a tremendous turnout," explained organiser Eleanor Murray. "Some people dyed their hair, while the canteen made pink fairy cakes and most of the refinery dressed in pink, even the men on site!"
Altogether the Pembroke refinery have raised £4,400 (to date), with half of the funds raised going to Breast Cancer Care and the other half to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest.
