Whitland YFC chairman, Mitch Rees, and treasurer, Sioned Evans, presented a cheque for £400 to Mr. Bruce Jackson, a past chairman of Whitland YFC and chairman of Carmarthen Breakthru, a centre that provides respite for children with severe learning difficulties. Bruce, a parent who has a son who uses the centre, gave the members an interesting insight into the good work the centre provides. He thanked the members for their generous donation and explained how it would be used to purchase learning equipment. The members raised the money on two very cold nights of carol singing around the local community, and they were very grateful for the warm welcome and generous donations they received from everyone.
