ONE of Britain's most exciting and highly regarded young cooks will be making an appearance during Pembrokeshire Fish Week this summer.

Phil Vickery is instantly recognisable as the current chef on 'This Morning' and from his many appearances on 'Ready, Steady Cook' and 'Masterchef'.

His professional accolades include earning a Michelin Star for four successive years.

Phil will be hosting a Fish and Shellfish Masterclass cookery demonstration at the Torch Theatre on Wednesday, July 2. Tickets are £10 from the theatre box office and include a glass of wine sponsored by Manor House Wines.

Another celebrity chef, Wales' own Angela Gray, is also taking part in Fish Week. She will appear alongside champion fish filleter Duncan Lucas at a Charity Fun with Fish Night at the Picton Community Centre in Haverfordwest on the first night, Saturday, June 28.

An evening of Fish Tales, comprising story-telling and sea shanties and a two-course meal featuring locally-caught fish is to be held on Thursday, July 3, at the Queen's Hall, Narberth.

Music will be provided by the band Baggy Wrinkle with stories told by Mary Anne Roberts.

These are just some of the many events lined up during Pembrokeshire Fish Week which celebrates seafood, fish and fishing throughout the West Wales county.

Now in its fourth year, it will run from Saturday, June 28, to Sunday, July 6.
