The night started with a talk from Jason Jennings, of Panmawr Cheese, together with some sampling of various cheeses. Lyndon and Rachel Belt, of Templeton Beer, wine and Spirit Co., brought along an array of wines and beers for the locals to taste before, during and after the cheese!
Thanks go to both companies who made the evening go so smoothly.
After a raffle and a quick quiz, the night continued with some singing and dancing to Andrew on the disco.
A big thank you to all who attended and who donated raffle prizes.
The sum of £250 was raised and the money will be matched through Barclays Community Investment 'Charity Begins at Work' Programme, bringing the total to £500. The money will be shared between the two charities.
Grateful thanks go to Alison Pearce, of Barclays Tenby, who helped organise the event.
Said Gareth Lewis, of Barclays Community Team: "At Barclays we strive to strengthen local communities. This is a fantastic example of Barclays staff fund-raising with the local community for a well deserving charity."
The evening was organised for Donna Longhurst, of Templeton, who is an inspiration to us all, who is soon to be taking part in the London Marathon.
