Yesterday (Thursday) saw the launch of a brand new beer!

Under a new collaboration between Tenby Brewing Company and the RNLI, 10 per cent of profits of sales from the Local Hero beer will be donated to the help the lifesaving charity.

The beer is a golden ESB (extra special bitter) 4.3 per cent abv, and will be sold to pubs for draught serve.

Said Tenby Brewing Company’s Rob Faulkner: “Living in a coastal town means that we see, and hear about the huge difference the RNLI make to our safety at sea and along the coastline.

“With that in mind, we wanted to find a way to support the RNLI on a local and national scale.

“After months of discussion and planning, we have brewed a new ESB (extra special bitter) with 10 per cent of the profits from this beer going directly from Tenby Brewing Company to RNLI Lifeboats.

“We hope that Pembrokeshire, and the rest of the UK will join us in raising a glass to the amazing work our local heroes do all over the UK coastline!”
