Saundersfoot Library is reopening in the brand new Regency Hall.

The village's library service closed temporarily a year ago while refurbishment work took place and a mobile library operated in its place.

The new look library is more modern and spacious with a large new collection of books, DVDs and audio books for customers to choose from.

Clr. Elwyn Morse, cabinet member for culture, sport and leisure, said the rebuilding of the Regency Hall had enabled Pembrokeshire County Council's library service to redesign its library.

"While we offer the same service as before, the new library is a modern, contemporary design, brighter and airier," he said.

"I'm sure all our regular borrowers will be thrilled with it and I'm certain it will encourage new users to come and visit."

Saundersfoot Library opening hours are: Monday - 10.30 am to 12.30 pm; Tuesday - 2-5 pm; Wednesday - 10.30 am to 12.30 pm; Thursday - 2-6 pm.
